Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Windows-based IT systems, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with security standards.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory environments and VDI solutions for seamless system performance and security.
• Continuously enhance system efficiency through tuning, configuration adjustments, and performance monitoring.
• Lead and contribute to medium-to-large-scale IT projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide clear and concise briefings to stakeholders, translating complex technical details into actionable insights.
• Oversee the deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and support of Windows systems, ensuring stability and reliability.
• Deliver robust support across both end-user and server environments, resolving issues effectively and improving user experience.
Required Qualifications • Active TS/SCI Poly Clearance (mandatory). • Education: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Alternative options: A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience (reducing the total required IT engineering experience to 6 years). An additional 4 years of IT engineering experience may be substituted for a degree (requiring 12 years of relevant experience without a degree). • Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT engineering experience supporting federal programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Certifications: Security+ Certification (mandatory). • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Microsoft Exchange and enterprise IT system management.
