Job Title: Human Resources Intern
Location: Chanhassen, MN- Hybrid Schedule
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Pay and Hours: $18-$19/hour, 30-40 hours per week

About You:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone in their junior or senior year of college who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a high-impact HR environment. The HR Intern will work closely with the Director of HR and provide vital administrative support across key HR programs and employee engagement initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, being resourceful, and is excited about contributing to the employee experience behind the scenes while learning the foundational work that makes a modern HR function run smoothly.
What You'll Get to Do:
Perform general administrative tasks including scanning, electronic/paper filing, and completing verification requests
Maintain employee records in HRIS and organize confidential personnel files
Ensure employee files are compliant with employment laws
Assist with New Hire Onboarding and Orientation preparation
Assist in recruitment activities including scheduling phone screens and interviews
Assist with internal HR audits and document HR procedures
Assist in preparing materials for internal leadership and onboarding programs
Coordinate gifting for employee anniversaries and life events
Schedule and manage cross-functional lunches for internal teams
Maintain and update internal calendars across various platforms
Assist in other Human Resources functions and activities as requested and conduct research and projects as required. Requirements
What You Bring:
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or other relevant studies
Completion of at least two years of relevant coursework (junior standing or higher preferred)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn HRIS platforms
Proactive and self-directed with a desire to learn and contribute meaningfully
High school diploma/GED attained Preferred Qualifications
Current college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Human Services, Law, Business or related field
Prior experience in Human Resources or HR-related tasks
Prior experience in office or customer service roles *Visa sponsorships are not available for this role and will not be considered.
