Licensed Outpatient Therapist / LCAS

Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions, PLLC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to provide an array of recovery and rehabilitation services to individuals and groups in our Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program.

As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist at Amethyst, you will be responsible for performing outpatient addictions treatment, completing comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment plans, follow-up therapy and case management for individuals and families that are in substance abuse recovery. The ideal candidate is flexible to serve clients primarily in the office or via telehealth, is a Medicaid approved provider, and eligible to join additional private insurance panels.

The ideal professional for this position is a compassionate communicator, excellent collaborator, and passion driven therapist with adept skills in the area of substance abuse treatment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Providing group individual, family outpatient therapy sessions

Completing comprehensive clinical assessments

Developing person-centered treatment plans to guide client treatment

Discharge planning

Crisis Response

Liaise relationships between Amethyst, clients served, collaborative providers, and various other community resources

Assess progress toward goals of individuals served, coordinating supports and resources, as needed.

Prepares and submits documentation of services within 24 hours of service delivery.

Provides urgent care and crisis intervention as indicated.

Consults regularly w/ clinical team members on member care.

Communicate w/ Behavioral Health colleagues, Primary Care providers, and other providers and agencies as needed to facilitate integrative care.

Participate in staff development meetings and in quality-of-care activities on a regular basis.

Performs other related duties as assigned Competency

Experience serving adults and children with substance use disorders and families with DSM-V diagnosis (mental health needs).

Individual therapy with adults and families

Implementation of interventions within systems in the youth's natural ecology (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

Self-motivated and committed to continuing personal and professional growth.

Competence in written and oral communications, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Basic computer skills and literacy.

Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.

Able to adequately complete assessments and mental health screenings

Demonstrate ability to function independently, under pressure.

Effective, empathetic, interpersonal skills (oral and written) that build mutual trust and respect with clients and their families, agency staff, and the professional community.

Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with professional colleagues, local and state officials, referral sources and community groups.

Strong Case Management Skills Preferred Experience

Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)

Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), LCMHC, or LMFT

Strong Clinical Skills working with adults with Substance Use Disorders and Comorbidity

Strong Assessment & Diagnostic Skills

Experience in completing Clinical Compressive Assessments

Treatment Planning Expertise

Client Focus & Strong Ability to Function as a Team Member

Strong Individual, Family, & Group Therapy Skills

Flexibility work schedule and willingness to work in office, community, or via telehealth

Direct use of evidence-based models (i.e., cognitive-behavioral therapy, structural, strategic and functional family therapies, motivational interviewing, contingency management, etc.) Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Service-related field required.

2 years of Post Master's clinical experience in mental health required. Salary:

$60,000 + DOE
