Human Resource Internship
Purpose
HR Interns will work with leaders in our organization to gain a better understanding of human resources in the manufacturing environment. This position will teach you the ins and outs of our daily procedures and will give you a better understanding of how our organization runs. The internship will be start in the middle of May and end in August.
Position Responsibilities:
Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors from multiple departments
Support the team with various tasks and projects
Staying on task and able to do repetitive work for extended periods of time.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Answering incoming calls and transferring them to their destination Skills:
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Team player and results oriented
Attention to detail
Ability to use a computer to interpret information
Being able to solve problems and offer suggestions for improvement
Perform other duties as required by supervision.
General Requirements:
Motivation - displays a positive attitude, offers helpful suggestions, works well under pressure and in a team environment, understands and supports customer mission and value statement.
Attendance - attendance in line with company policy, reliable.
Productivity - produces acceptable amount of work, completes projects in a timely manner.
Must be prepared to sit or stand for majority of shift.
Training - ensures required training classes are completed by the scheduled time.
Safety - follow all guidelines, policies and procedures as related to safety requirements.
