We are inviting you to apply for our open Evening Building Supervisor position. This is a lead afternoon and evening position that involves being the "ears-and-eyes" of the property for the general manager, assistant general manager and/or manager-on-duty. You would be moving about the property for most of your shift while being a service ambassador to all guests and associates while providing a safe environment for all persons on company property. In this role, it is purposed that you work a weekly schedule of four ten-hour days. Weekends and some holidays will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a respectful manner

Hold fellow associates accountable for their activities in the absence of a manager on property

Tour the resort with a keen eye for detail, and provide details for housekeeping, common area or maintenance to address

Encourage safe and efficient resort operations

Ensure that our associates are attentive, friendly, helpful, courteous, and maintain good communications and teamwork to all guests, managers, and fellow associates

Serve as a security officer if needed for special events

Assist with an accident report if needed

Potentially respond to crisis situations and act according to rules and regulations of Kalahari Resorts and by local and state laws

Be familiar with all in-house groups

Host Daily Standup meetings for the evening shift(s)

Do checks of the resort perimeter, including all parking lots.

Lock all exterior doors after all events of the day have ended.

Walk associates/guests to their vehicles if they feel unsafe.

Record names and room numbers of guests with whom you have had contact outside of their rooms

Enforce and report parking lot situations

The ability to be proactive, flexible, and take on the most effective role at any given time.

Help lost children reunite with a family member/chaperone

Be able to work with and assist local law enforcement and safety personnel.

Keep associates updated on local weather conditions and advisories.

Assist guests with lockouts.

Provide the utmost in confidentiality with every action taken

Must be able to adapt to a broad range of customer interactions, inquiries, and challenges.

Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.

Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policy, rules and the ability to maintain confidential information.

Must maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.

Must be able to deal effectively with internal and external guests, some of whom will require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information Physical Requirements:

Ability to move, walk, and patrol constantly, property and resort grounds throughout the shift (up to 10 hours) Desired Experience:

Three years' experience in a customer-focused supervisor or manager role in either: hospitality, food and beverage or retail

Driver's license
