QC Shop inspector 3rd shift

Our Client is looking to hire a QC Shop Inspector to join their team in Mentor! Our Client is a leader in creating re-useable that securely connects electrical wires using a screw mechanism.

The QC Shop Inspector will be responsible for inspecting machined copper and aluminum electrical connectors, gathering samples from all the machines, check parts for quality defects, using handheld equipment while referencing blueprints and other documentation.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

- Ability to use quality gaging equipment such as calipers, thread gages, and gage pins

- Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints

- Basic Computer skills

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Some experience with inspection in the past within a manufacturing environment

Job Responsibilities:

- Inspecting machined copper and aluminum electrical connectors

- gathering samples from all machine that are in production

- Check parts for quality defects using hand-held gaging equipment such as calipers, thread plugs, and

gage pins while referencing blueprints and other quality documentation

- Report inspection using Excel templates and email to verbally communicate results

- Conduct gage calibrations along with general audits
