Position Overview
QinetiQ Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead to support systems operations, training, deployment, and maintenance management for fully integrated Aerostat Systems with primary RADAR and ELINT payloads across a robust command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) platform. This position will be part of our National Global Security Solutions Business Unit and directly support the Product Director (PD) Aerostats Program Executive Officer (PEO) Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEWS) program.
Responsibilities
Provide management of ISR systems operations, training, deployment, and maintenance management for various Aerostat systems
Serve as the in-country theater manager in OCONUS locations coordinating with the customer contracting officer and other government agencies to ensure the security and operational readiness of employees and systems
Communicate point of entry and security requirements with subcontractors and employees for
international travel in accordance with their LOA's and Country Clearances
Coordinate with Field Support Representatives, logistics personnel, and customer service representatives to both establish and maintain theater operations
Maintain the AOR deployment requirements by obtaining SPOT, generate LOAs, Country Clearances, Training instructions, and point of entry requirements for international travel
Provide strategic growth initiatives including budget, planning and contract compliance to aligned with company/program objectives
Manage program cost, schedule, quality, performance, processes, and subcontract activities. Employ EVM, metrics, risk management and project management methodologies to ensure successful program execution
Monitor project risks and scope creep to eliminate potential problems. Identify and implement improvement projects and solutions
Build key performance indicators that improved the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial reporting and planning
Provide direction to subcontractor companies to ensure PWS compliance Required Qualifications
Minimum ten (10) years' experience with project/program/country management
Experience working OCONUS and partnering with NATO
Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
Must be willing to travel both CONUS and OCONUS as needed for successful program/project execution, including the ability to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas travel/work
Familiarity with Aerostat related systems and payloads, to include various types of tethers:
Experience with DoD airborne and ground systems
Experience with national security C5ISR programs
Experience in the operations, sustainment, diagnostics, and repair of complex electronic systems and avionics equipment
Ability to communicate program/project status and company practices with senior executives and employees
Ability to provide oversight for multiple simultaneous pursuits, to include personnel, budgets, materials and equipment management, and schedules
Able to successfully engage and lead geographically dispersed and diverse teams
Ability to work in a challenging fast paced, team environment, including outside normal work hours to include weekends, to meet tight deadlines for both internal company leadership and external clients Clearance Level Must Currently Possess:

Working knowledge of U.S. Government, international government, and international accrediting bodies standards and best practices
