Title: Drafting/CAD Technician II (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $20.15 - 33.33/hour

Employment Type: 1-year Contract, possible Temp2Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM; OT is often, targeting 45 hours per week.

Location: Wilmington, NC (Work from home 3 days/week)

Tekberry is looking for a Drafting/CAD Technician II to work hybrid with our client, a leading global manufacturing company. You'll support global drafting operations by creating, revising, and storing 3D models and 2D drawings for custom-designed process equipment using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

Correct redlined models/drawings from engineering and drafting leads.

Convert legacy drawings into 3D models with associative 2D drawings.

Create 2D drawings from existing 3D models.

Incorporate collected production floor data into detailed drawings.

Follow strict ASME/ANSI drafting standards and company guidelines. Qualifications:

2+ years professional mechanical drafting experience.

Proficient with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.

Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic.

Knowledge of ASME/ANSI drafting standards.

Degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. Desired Skills:

Experience converting legacy hand drawings into modern 3D/2D files.

Strong general computer skills in Windows-based environments.
