We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer / Technology Manager for a DMC/EMC manufacturing facility. This role will focus on optimizing plant performance through data-driven decision-making, implementing process improvements, and supporting compliance with environmental and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. The position will play a key role in the transfer of proprietary technology from international operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yields, reduce energy usage, and ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities:

Identify and lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct plant trials and experiments; analyze data and implement changes.

Develop and maintain process documentation including PFDs and material/energy balances.

Define and optimize operating variables to reduce production costs while maintaining quality and safety.

Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support for daily operations.

Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Management of Change (MOC).

Support operations staff in implementing new procedures or technologies.

Monitor plant performance to ensure product quality and environmental compliance.

Develop tools (dashboards, reports) to track key process metrics.

Collaborate on environmental reporting and ensure regulatory adherence.

Provide engineering input during turnarounds and shutdowns.

Manage technology transfer from overseas partners and act as technology gatekeeper.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.

Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Working knowledge of environmental regulations, PSM standards, and chemical manufacturing technologies.

Demonstrated ability to apply deep chemical process knowledge in a plant setting.

Strong computer skills, including Excel and data visualization tools

Preferred Experience:

10+ years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or refining industry.

Experience with continuous production processes and complex chemical systems.
