HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST CONSULTANT (6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT)
On site 3 days/week
Job Purpose:
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, policy implementation, compensation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment
Responsible for managing end to end ADP applicant tracking system.
Collaborate with leaders to post and close jobs, status candidates and run reports.
Manage recruitment process for the US team by collaborating with candidates and hiring managers.
Manage relationships with employment agencies including tracking and reporting.
Manage all recruitment job files. Engagement
Own and administer employee recognition program.
Own and administer employee wellness program.
Develop and facilitate training as appropriate, including onboarding, new hire orientation, town hall, and HR processes and procedures.
Partner with leadership to assist with HR related projects.
Manage annual employee benefits enrolment survey.
Assist with annual employee engagement survey.
Development
Own and administer annual performance management process to include:
ADP system configuration goal setting, compensation/merit process
Development and facilitation of training
HR Operations
Interpret and administer HR policies.
Ongoing management of employee inquiries to improve best practices.
Prepare and maintain various human resources records, including employee files (both electronic and hard copy) ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially of information (i.E., new hire paperwork, I-9s, benefits, employee relations)
Ongoing administration of employee programs including, onboarding, employee relations, offboarding and employee safety.
Work with HR leader to manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Manage employee offboarding process.
Responsible for partnering with legal and HR leader to manage annual ACA, EEO and Affirmative Action reporting.
Own and administer monthly HR dashboard reporting for Joint Steering Committee meeting and Annual Business Planning meetings.
Conduct periodic audits of employee records and files and workplace poster requirements to ensure federal and state compliance (i.E., I-9s, OSHA)
Own, validate, and ensure timely approval of monthly invoices for payment.
Back up support to HR Associate
Special projects as assigned.
Benefits Administration
Administer benefit programs to include:
Annual Open Enrolment
Leave Administration
Benefits onboarding and offboarding including medical, dental, life insurance, FSA and Cobra.
Communicate all benefit related programs.
Vendor management as appropriate for all corporate benefits.
Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain and create benefit records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.
Special Projects:
Technology Integration of Mutual of Omaha benefit administration of LOAs
Technology Integration support with Motus and ADP
Technology Integration support with Motivosity Recognition Platform and ADP
Support with Recruitment Training rollout
Interview Guide Creation and Implementation
Review of all HR internal processes to provide feedback and changes as appropriate
Requirements for Position:
Bachelor's Degree required;master s degree preferred
10+ years' experience in HR
Proven experience with talent acquisition process
Proven experience with employee relations issues
Proven experience with employee benefits
Excellent follow through skills
Ability to work independently
Understanding of the HR function including processes and procedures
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Experience with MS Office suite;ADP Workforce Now HRIS/payroll system
Excellent communication skills
