Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to manage all areas related to Health and Safety compliance and performance. Responsibilities include supporting and coordinating safety awareness programs; ensuring proper reporting of work-related accidents; coordinating and/or conducting all safety training, including physical aspects such as proper bending, lifting and stretching procedures, as well as any related follow-up necessary to maintain compliance in these areas; complete implementation of the Corporate Safety Manual, safety procedures, checklist and audits. Some requirements of the position involve riding with Route Service Sales Representatives (Route Drivers) and working in a production warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance among all affected workers. While riding on route and working in the warehouse, the Compliance Coordinator will be responsible to assist with the physical duties of those positions, including lifting, carrying and walking products into and out of customer accounts and continuous bending, twisting and stretching to move products throughout the various areas of the plant.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
Previous health, safety and environmental compliance experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry
High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Preferred
Training, instructor or management/leadership experience
Availability to start within two weeks after offer made/accepted
