Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems/Solutions Architect to provide strategic technical leadership in support of large-scale ERP modernization initiatives for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and broader Navy clients. This role will lead the architectural planning, design, and execution of next-generation ERP systems to support Navy mission needs, ensuring alignment with evolving Department of Defense (DoD) standards and enterprise IT modernization goals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Extensive hands-on public and private sector experience in DevOps engineering including architect of whole solutions.

Extensive hands-on experience designing and coordinating the implementation of technical runway to implement large scale ERP build, test, scanning automation with continuous delivery in mind

Design and oversee the architecture for largescale, multiteam solutions.

Familiarity operating as a system or enterprise architect within Scaled Agile framework

Ensure alignment of solution architecture with business objectives.

Lead the integration of DevOps practices into the solution architecture.

Hands on experience automating ERP test, security scanning, and deployment processes.

Collaborate with teams to resolve technical challenges and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

10+ years of experience in systems architecture, ERP modernization, or large-scale IT transformation.

Experience working with Department of Defense clients, particularly the Navy or NIWC.

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (DoDAF, TOGAF, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), cybersecurity standards (RMF, NIST), and modern DevSecOps practices.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications Desired:

Master’s degree in an information technology or project management discipline.

Demonstrated experience implementing project management principles; and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents, and tasks through completion.

Experience working at the strategic level in Federal Government Agencies supporting Building Partner Capacity/Security Cooperation, Interagency, or Agreements efforts.

Experience in supervision and management of projects involving operational and analytical support and integration in an operational environment.

Experience and proficiency communicating highly effective technical topics effectively, using both written and oral communication. This includes experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical concepts.

Experience with cost-type contracts.

Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to engineering, information technology, or management.

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust. Must be a U.S. citizen.
