UNCLASSIFIED POSITION IN THE FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
KEY RSPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Justice involved individuals who are leaving Fulton County Jail
Serve participants of the FCSO re-entry program through speaking engagements and monthly group coaching for youth ages 17-24 to help facilitate a smooth transition back into their communities and reduce recidivism among re-entry participants
Serve along with other community stakeholders to bridge and repair relationships with family members, and other key people
Connect individuals to educational, job readiness, and employment opportunities
Provide ongoing weekly mentorship and intervention as needed for justice-involved youth to reduce violence in schools
Weekly group sessions to address life skills, and character development
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology, supplemented by three years of experience in social services program management, social work or a related role, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable successful performance in this role.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performance of the essential functions and learn, comprehend, and apply all county or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position.
Job Summary:
The Social Services Program Manager will oversee and implement programs designed to address public safety and community violence reduction. This role requires a strong understanding of social issues, program management, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on communities and have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful social programs.
Essential Functions:

Develop, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at reducing community violence and promoting public safety.
Oversee the development of program curricula, training materials, and evaluation tools.
Build strong relationships with community members, organizations, and government agencies.
Collaborate with community partners, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop targeted interventions.
Organize community events and outreach activities to promote program goals.
Facilitate community meetings and engage in collaborative decision-making.
Serves as a liaison to link program activities with community agencies or other social service resources to enhance programming services.
Represents Fulton County Sheriff's Office at community and business meetings.
Educates the community about social services programs.
Evaluates the effectiveness of program planning and implementation activities.
Responds to inquiries and resolves problems or complaints regarding the availability or quality of program services.
Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program outcomes to stakeholders.
Develops systems and maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control, and documentation of assigned area and prepares reports on program activities.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform program improvements.
Prepares annual financial and program activity reports in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and manages assigned program budget.
Ensures that the assigned program complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Additional Functions:
Performs other related duties as required.

The examination will consist of an evaluation of education and experience, accomplished by analysis of the application.
