*Hiring for in-person role in San Antonio, Texas location.*
What you’ll get to do:
Open and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.
Responsible for data entry/records: MAPs Programs/Settlements/Repo & Charge off Process.
Review and prepare Right to Cure letters and Deficiency Balance letters.
Research accounts to ensure lien is perfected and order titles when necessary.
Prepare daily/monthly reporting.
Responsible for collection follow-ups on open items.
Research and offset accounts when appropriate.
Prepare files for 3rd party post charge-off / legal actions.
Update & Monitor Bankruptcy notifications
Monitor & Maintain Probate Finder (Deceased)
Maintain collection follow-up log and input notes into accounts.
Load auto dialer for both IL and Credit Card team daily.
Assign accounts to repossession and remarketing companies, as necessary.
Responsible for monitoring the repo portfolio and legal accounts.
Process loan modifications and loan payment extensions.
Assist with gathering documentation to file insurance claims.
Review and respond/process credit bureau disputes.
Review and approve total loss insurance settlements.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree or some college hours in business, finance, accounting or related field required with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline preferred.
Five (5) plus years’ collection experience in installment loans, credit card, and/or bankruptcy.
1+ years in banking preferred.
