Salary Range:
$124,400 to $147,300 USD/ANNUALLY

What you will be doing:
As the Systems Administrator Manager, you will supervise a team of skilled helpdesk and system administrators. overseeing the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will drive strategic IT initiatives, manage complex technical projects, and align IT operations with the overall business goals.
Lead and manage the systems administration team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
Lead and manage helpdesk staff ensuring excellent customer services to other employees.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows AD, Exchange, VMWare, and O365 environments.
Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead strategic IT initiatives and large-scale projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, implementing necessary improvements to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
Manage firewalls, switches and other network infrastructure
Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, Policies, processes, and procedures.
Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues and escalations.

Qualifications
Education/Years of Experience:
*B.S. in Information Technology or a related field (M.S. preferred).
8+ years of experience in systems administration roles.
3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodations.
Skills:
Extensive Experience with O365 administration
Extensive Experience on Windows Server Administration
Strong Experience with DHCP, DNS, IIS and other Microsoft Server Services
Strong Experience with hypervisor administration (VMWare)
Strong Experience with shared resource administration (NFS and Sharepoint)
Strong Experience managing firewalls, swtiches, and other network devices
Strong Experience managing on-prem storage area network (SAN)
Strong Experience with Cloud based platform services (PaaS)
Strong Experience with cloud based infrastructure (IaaS)
Experience with PowerShell and other scripting
Strong understanding of system security practices and compliance standards such as NIST CSF
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Superior communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
