Description

Muscogee Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled MIG/Flex Welder to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Understanding and interpreting blueprints to determine the required weld specifications, including material type, thickness, and weld geometry.

Choosing the appropriate flux core wire, shielding gas (if used), and welding equipment for the specific project and material.

Cutting, measuring, and preparing metal surfaces to ensure proper welding conditions.

Setting up and operating MIG flux core welding equipment to join metal parts, ensuring consistent weld quality and meeting project requirements.

Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring they meet specified standards, and making necessary adjustments.

adhering to all relevant safety procedures and protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Keeping the work area clean and organized, and maintaining welding equipment in good working order.

Communicating with the other team members, including engineers and production personnel, to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with MIG flux core welding techniques.

Knowledge of different welding procedure and techniques.

Ability to select appropriate materials and equipment for specific projects.

Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.

Good hand-eye coordination and precision skills.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

MIG Welder Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of formal MIG welding training at an accredited institution (can be satisfied by completing a MIG welder apprenticeship.

Willingness to follow all safety procedures.

Solid levels of physical stamina and strength.
