Customs Analyst (Hybrid Detroit, MI)

WyseWork Agency is actively recruiting for an experienced Customs Analyst to support a long-term hybrid contract based in Detroit, MI. This position is ideal for professionals with strong import/export compliance knowledge and advanced data analysis skills.

Key Details:

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 remote)

Contract: 12-month minimum

Industry: Automotive / Supply Chain

Experience: 5–10 years in import/export logistics

Education: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

Responsibilities Include:

Data mining, analysis, and duty spike investigations

Managing broker communications and documentation tracking

Post-entry correction and duty recovery efforts

Weekly reporting and stakeholder presentations

Coordinating FTA/COO certifications and compliance

Must-Have Skills:

HTS classification knowledge, entry/shipment documentation expertise

Strong Excel, Power BI, Power Query & PowerPoint proficiency

High attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets

Experience with global shipment regulations and recordkeeping
