LPR International is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to provide data entry services for the Barksdale AFB Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) based in Barksdale AFB, LA.
**This position is contingent upon a contract award.**
Job Requirements:
Contractor shall create and update TAP related workshops in database system (AFFIRST) and update attendance after
conclusion of Pre-Separation Briefing, Transition Assistance Workshop, Veterans' Benefits Briefings, Capstone, and two-day GPS Tracks.
Contractor shall update client checklist on DD Form 2648 in milConnect after completion of the Pre-Separation Briefing.
Contractor shall update client checklist on DD Form 2648 in milConnect after completion of the five day Transition Workshop.
Contractor shall maintain accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program in AFFIRST.
Contractor shall provide daily sign-up sheets for Transition Assistance Program workshops/classes.
Contractor must be familiar with internet data bases.
Contractor must have a minimum of at least six months of data entry experience.
Contractor must be familiar with using a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft computer software applications.
Contractor must have the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Contractor shall have knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools and techniques to support program and produce a variety of documents, such as emails, reports, spreadsheets, databases and graphs.
Contractor must be skilled in typing and working with a variety of office equipment. Ability to locate, assemble and compose information for routine reports, inquiries, and non-technical correspondence is required.
Contractor shall communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using tact and courtesy. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Contractor shall have the ability to plan, organize work and meet deadlines.
Contractor shall maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and compliance with privacy act information.
Contractor shall contact all workshop/seminar participants via email and/or telephone prior to class start date to confirm attendance. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Physical Security: Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all Government property provided for use. At the end of each workday, ensure Government facility, equipment and materials are
secure.
Pass and Identification: Contractor shall obtain and display all Government and contractor identification as required. Contractor shall return all Government issued identification and vehicle passes at contract expiration or termination thereof.
Traffic Laws, Weapons, Firearms and Ammunition: Contractor shall comply with all base traffic regulations. Contractor
employees are prohibited from possessing weapons, firearms, or ammunition on themselves or within their contractor-owned or privately owned vehicle while on Barksdale AFB.
Key Control: Contractor shall safeguard and ensure Government furnished keys are not lost, misplaced or used by unauthorized individuals. Contractor shall not duplicate any Government furnished key and shall report immediately to the A&FRC security monitor the loss thereof not later than the next workday. In the event keys other than master keys are lost or duplicated, the contractor may be required by written direction of the Contracting Officer, to re-key or replace the affected lock or locks at no cost to the Government. The Government may however, replace any affected lock(s) or perform re-keying and deduct such cost from the monthly payment due the contractor. In the event a master key is lost or duplicated, all locks and keys for that system shall be replaced by the Government, and the total cost of replacement shall be deducted from the next monthly invoice submitted for payment by the contractor. OTHER SIGNIFICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
Contractor shall be competent in operating personal computer systems and Microsoft Office Products. Basic communication skills are essential for dealing with Military and Family Readiness Center staff.
Contractor should have a basic understanding of military protocol, support group organizations, understanding of family systems in a military setting, and poses the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
Contractor is required to dress appropriately for a professional atmosphere.
Contractor will update client information in vMPF and track a visit in AFFIRST upon completion.
Contractor will assist Military and Family Readiness Center staff with front desk duties and responsibilities to include phone operations and scheduling. Contractor will be scheduled in rotation on monthly staff calendar.
Contractor will schedule and communicate with customers for TAP related classes / workshops via telephone and/or email.
Contractor will assist TAP manager with issuing and collecting government laptops to customers for classroom instructional purposes.
Contractor will assist TAP manager with setting up classroom for scheduled TAP related workshops / classes.
Contractor will track all informal customer visits and telephone calls in AFFIRST daily. HOURS OF WORK:
Services will be performed Monday through Friday from 0730 - 1630. Hours may be adjusted with prior approval from
supervising staff in advance of work performance at which time there will be an adjustment to the duty day. Environmental:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift items weighing up to (20) pounds.
Ability to stoop, reach, bend, twist and carry equipment.
Ability to employ hand dexterity in the use of equipment.
Ability to handle moderate noise typical of an office setting.
