Automation Engineer (80-100K)

Create PLC programs using ladder editor, function block diagrams, flow charts, etc. for converting equipment and associated functions
Design and develop HMI applications
Design and review PLC network architecture
AC/DC drives configuration
Integration of Legacy drives, controls and equipment
Support the creation of technical product documentation and information
In-house testing of software and systems
Provide on-site assistance during system start-up and commissioning
Remote and on-site customer support
Interact with customers as required
Work closely with team members to complete projects and assignments Education and Experience:
BSEE or MSEE with Controls background preferred
3-7 years of engineering experience
Ability to travel 25-30% North America and International
Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems, PCs, Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC
Strong understanding of industrial controls networks
Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction indefinitely
Training: Must be willing to train at the NY plant initially for 6 months, then can work out of the CT plant
