CAE Engineer

Prepare conceptual sketches of mechanical system considering the relations between components, functional requirements, allocation of space and component geometry; confer with design engineers in the product development process, and provide implicit and explicit analysis on automotive parts through structural and physics based modeling and simulations; conduct durability analysis on Exhaust Systems and suggest design changes to improve the durability of the system; design, develop and testing of preliminary and conceptual designs, models and technical drawings in or to improve vehicle performance and fuel efficiency; perform material calibrations as needed for simulations; and create design concepts to reduce both weight and cost for vehicle. May need to work in other locations as required.

Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, and at least five years of experience.
