Expect a dynamic role during the 2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM CT, M-F

Your Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain automation controls for both new and existing systems.

Work with a diverse array of control components like PLCs, SCADA, motion controllers, and vision systems.

Manage the engineering and compliance of electrical control enclosures.

Implement rigorous revision control for electrical and software modifications.

Craft and execute test plans ensuring peak machine performance.

Accurately communicate project updates and provide necessary training.

Diagnose and resolve equipment downtimes efficiently.

Partner with equipment vendors to address control and software needs.

Facilitate factory expansions, including testing and equipment commissioning.

What We're Looking For

Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Over a year of experience in Automation & Controls Engineering or a comparable area.

Skills:

Proficiency in advanced control systems and programming using Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, and Omron PLCs.

Deep troubleshooting expertise with automated systems.

Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and their integration into data streams.

Strong knowledge of process control and real-time data acquisition.

Exceptional multitasking abilities in a fast-moving environment.

Effective oral and written communication proficiency.

Proven persuasive skills using supportive data to gain consensus.

Willingness to be hands-on and travel 10% of the time.

Essential Details

Environment:

Combination of office and manufacturing environments, requiring rigorous adherence to safety standards and the ability to work with equipment safely and efficiently.

Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in frequent maneuvering, such as standing, kneeling, and climbing.
