NGS Lab Technician

Experience Level: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent lab experience

The Role: NGS Lab Technician

We’re hiring an NGS Lab Technician to join our NGS team. This is a junior, hands-on role for someone who wants to be in the lab every day, doing high-quality, repetitive work that’s critical to our sequencing pipeline. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and being the one who gets it done right every time.

Must have skills

Strong pipetting skills with small volumes and multi-channel pipettes

Experience with DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, or similar molecular biology techniques

Comfortable working in 96-well plate formats

Very strong attention to detail - precision in handling samples and preparing reagents

Clear communicator and team player

Bonus points for

Exposure to NGS workflows (library prep, QC, sequencing)

Familiarity with Qubit, TapeStation, centrifuges, or thermocyclers

Previous work in high-throughput, regulated, or quality-focused lab environments

Interest in biotech and Conception’s mission
