Ice Cream Scoopers (Summer/Fall)

Super Secret Ice Cream is looking for ice cream scoopers to join our team for our very busy Summer & Fall season!

We are a values-driven scoop shop dedicated to crafting the best ice cream using local, seasonal ingredients and an obsession with quality and service. Our entire business model was built on making really good ice cream but also being a place where people are excited to come to work everyday!

We fill our scoop shop with team players inspired to be the happiest part of people's day and make a positive impact on their community. We pride ourselves on fostering a work culture that’s fun, hardworking & understanding.

Scooper positions:

Junior Scoopers start at $10/hr + tips

Scoopers start at $12/hr+ tips

Lead Scoopers start at $15/hr+ tips

Qualifications

Optimist

14 years of age or older

Reliable transportation

Enjoy being on your feet for 5+ hours/day

Responsibilities

Represent SSIC and be the reason customers come back again and again.

You are excited about sharing happiness through ice cream and love the thrill of giving excellent customer service.

Scoop ice cream.

Immediately fix problems when something goes wrong.

Wash your hands and use gloves.

Know your schedule and keep your availability up to date.

Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists.

Operate the point of sale system, clean, and be assigned and taught other tasks as needed.

Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards with care.

Work quickly while under pressure during busy periods.

Use good judgment in all situations.

Rarely use your phone at work.

Memorize important information/allergy info about SSIC and our ice cream in order to accurately answer customers’ questions.

When we don't have a long line, scoopers are helping with kitchen production tasks, cleaning and helping to come up with the next big flavor.
