Job Description

Wal Machine, an aerospace manufacturer in West Babylon, is looking for full-time CNC Machinists

Qualifications:

· Proven experience with set up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines.

· Experience with OKK Machines preferred.

· Capable of inspecting your own work to check sheets and instructions.

· Ability to edit and program on machines to optimize existing programs.

· Proficiency in reading manufacturing drawings. An understanding of blueprints and tolerances.

· Aerospace manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities:

· Set up and operation of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines including verticals and horizontals.

· Will be expected to operate multiple machines.

· Conducting in-process inspections.

· Communicating tooling needs and machine issues to supervision. Maintain fluid levels.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hours a week, possible overtime as neededCompany Description
