Level 1 ($20 - $25/hr) + Signing Bonus
Level 2 ($30 - $40/hr) + Signing Bonus
Level 3 & 4 ($40 - $55/hr) + Signing Bonus
Location: Greater Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: M-F Business Hours

Fire Alarm Technician Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a large electrical contractor who is in search of multiple Fire Alarm Technicians with NICET certifications to join their team. The Fire Alarm Technician will ensure proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to industry standards and local codes. The successful Fire Alarm Technician will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal Fire Alarm Technician demonstrates excellent knowledge of industry standards and codes, holds a current NICET certification, and delivers excellent customer service and communication skills. The Fire Alarm Technician is a full-time, direct hire position in Phoenix, AZ.
*Potential Relocation Expenses Provided For Level 4 & Possibly Level 3.
*Potential Paid Testing For Level 3 to Level 4 For The Right Candidate.
Fire Alarm Technician Job Responsibilities:
Install Various Types of Fire Alarm Systems, Including Wiring, Devices, & Control Panels, According to Specifications & Compliance With Local, State, & National Codes
Perform Regular Maintenance, Inspections, & Repairs of Fire Alarm Systems to Ensure Functionality & Efficiency; Troubleshooting Complex Issues & Make Recommendations For System Enhancements
Conduct Detailed Testing & Commissioning of New & Existing Fire Alarm Systems to Ensure They Meet All Requirements & Function Correctly
Accurately Complete All Necessary Documentation Including Service Reports, Testing Logs, & Compliance Forms
Maintain Detailed Records of All Inspections, Maintenance, & Repairs Performed
Provide High-Quality Customer Service, Offering Clear Communication & Feedback About The Status & Safety of Their Systems; Addressing Customer Concerns & Ensure Their Satisfaction With Service Provided
Stay Updated With The Latest Fire Protection Codes & Standards; Ensure All Work is Performed in Compliance With The National Fire Protection Associate (NFPA) Standards & Other Relevance Regulations
Work Closely With Project Managers, Engineers, & Other Technicians to Ensure Projects Are Completed on Time & Within Budget
Assist With Training of Other Junior Technicians
Must Adhere to All Safety & PPE Requirements
Fire Alarm Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
NICET Level 1-4 Certification With Experience in Fire Alarm System Installation, Maintenance, & Troubleshooting Preferred
Excellent Understanding of Fire Alarm System Design, Configuration, & Operational Requirements Including Various Fire Alarm Panels & Devices
Ability to Diagnose & Resolve Issues Efficiently & Effectively, Ensuring Minimal Downtime
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills, Capable of Clearly Explaining Complex Systems
High Level of Attention to Detail With a Commitment to Accuracy & Quality
Ability to Work in Various Environments & Ascend Ladders, Work in Confined Spaces, & Lift Equipment up to 50lbs
