(2) Summer Bus Aides

At the present time we have openings for 2 Summer Bus Aides.

*This position is currently only open to current internal NASD employees*

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

Maintains order and safety. Free driver to concentrate on safe driving practices.

Demonstrates patience and understanding. Offer support and direction to children with behavioral difficulties.

Provides physical assistance to students who have difficulty climbing on or off the bus.

Enforces school discipline code on the bus and reports infractions to teacher and principal.

Maintains confidentiality in discussing special education students.

Works amiably and cooperatively with bus drivers, teachers, aides, parents, etc.

Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance patterns.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday

3-4 hours per day; final daily schedule will be determined once ESY routes are finalized

Rate:

Internal Candidates - will receive school year contracted rate
