Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Tableau Developer to join team.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to our business users.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, a passion for data visualization, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.

Data Integration and Preparation:

Connect Tableau to various data sources (databases, spreadsheets, web APIs), extract, transform, and load data using SQL, and optimize data models for performance.

SQL Proficiency:

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance, including data source optimization, extract management, and calculation optimization.

Data Visualization:

Apply data visualization best practices to create clear, concise, and engaging dashboards and reports.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, design effective visualizations, and provide technical guidance.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Troubleshoot Tableau-related issues, provide technical support to users, and assist with data quality issues.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Tableau dashboards, reports, and processes.

Continuous Learning:

Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, updates, and industry trends.

Team Leadership

(Optional): Depending on experience, may mentor junior team members and manage a team if required.
