Union Employee (CDL Class A )

Job Details Job Location: Belleville - Belleville, IL Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Job Title: Union Employee Department: Delivery/Warehouse Position reports to: Warehouse Manager Primary purpose and function of position: Perform night picking and warehouse duties as directed.

Drive a delivery vehicle to transport and/or delivery product as directed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate walkie riders safely and efficiently * Stack and separate empty kegs and pallets * Operate as an efficient and productive member on the night loading team * Ability to build and load sideload, draught, bulk trucks as well as stage product * Clean warehouse as directed * Maintain warehouse product rotation standards * Operate delivery vehicles and unload product from truck * Rotate and deliver product * Pickup pallets, cooperage or damaged product * Make payment collection, record transaction and reconcile daily receipts * Maintain DOT logbook * Unload trailers and receive deliveries * Stock product pick locations, including floor, static, and carton flow racking * Build product orders * Unload and/or strip delivery vehicles * Transport product and supplies between supplier and warehouse locations * Comply with all Wholesaler Equity Agreement requirements, Grey Eagle and supplier standards and policies * Adhere to all Federal, State and Local liquor regulations * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * High school diploma or GED certificate required * Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) * Must have the ability to read, write and follow instructions * Must be fork-lift certified and have ability to safely operate job related equipment * Ability to safely operate job related equipment * Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude * Project a friendly, courteous and professional image * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities * Ability to work on a team with minimal supervision * Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to: repetitively handling cases of beer, reaching above head height, climbing, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling * Ability to frequently life, carry, push or pull package product weighing 50 plus pounds and draught product weighing 165 plus pounds * Regular and reliable attendance required * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays as needed * Ability to pass a required pre-employment, background, and drug screening * Ability to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned
