JOB OVERVIEW

Applies engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices to develop and maintain software applications. Responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, programming, debugging, modification, and deployment of SaaS applications. Work closely with quality assurance team members and maintain documentation of application design, architecture, and functionality. Periodically collaborate with clients on identifying needs and aligning with appropriate technologies. Perform investigation and troubleshooting to assist with client reported problems. Ensures that software development best practices are applied and maintains an understanding of trends and new developments in relevant technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUITES

Develop and improve image segmentation models using deep learning techniques

Implement robust feature detection algorithms

Work with a variety of measurement algorithms

Build and enhance processing pipelines for 2D and 3D image analysis

Manage and optimize systems for serverless cloud deployment (AWS Lambda)

Integrate with messaging systems for asynchronous processing

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Math

6+ years of relevant experience

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

Strong Python programming skills

Experience with OpenCV and NumPy

Proficiency in C++

Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/Keras)

Knowledge of computer vision techniques including segmentation, classification, and feature detection

Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS)

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines

Desired Experience

Exposure to medical imaging or healthcare technology

Experience with cloud-based image processing pipelines

Understanding of wound clinical workflows

Knowledge of 3D reconstruction techniques

Experience with serverless computing architectures

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical software

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical software
