Are you a skilled craftsman with a passion for building things from the ground up? Do you excel at both working with metal and meticulously assembling complex machinery? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Welder, Fabricator & Mechanical Assembler!

In this hands-on role, you'll be integral to our process of creating custom material handling and automation devices. You'll take projects from initial drawings through fabrication and welding of steel components to the final assembly of the complete, unique machine. Every project offers new challenges and the chance to see your skills directly contribute to innovative solutions.

What You'll Do:

Fabricate and weld metal parts (primarily MIG, TIG a plus) according to detailed drawings and specifications.

Assemble custom-fabricated components and purchased parts into finished material handling and automation devices.

Read and interpret shop drawings, assembly schematics, and Bills of Materials with accuracy.

Operate a range of fabrication tools and equipment (saws, drill presses, torches, grinders, hand tools, etc.).

Assemble and align mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical components.

Conduct basic testing to ensure weld quality during the build and proper device function after assembly.

What You'll Bring:

2+ years of combined experience in welding/fabrication and mechanical assembly, ideally in a manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in MIG welding and metal fabrication techniques.

Ability to accurately read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Familiarity with common hand and power tools, measuring devices, and basic shop math.

A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Ability to obtain required welding certifications.

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity for fabrication and assembly work.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable with occasional walking, climbing, bending, and reaching.

Adherence to PPE requirements.
