Activity Aide Responsibilities:
As an activity assistant, you will assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
You will provide activities for those with special needs (i.e., depressed, terminally ill, bedridden).
You will encourage the participation and involvement of all residents.
You will prepare for and participate in resident care conferences.
You will prepare sites and materials for activities.Requirements:
Activity Aide Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 21 years of age (union requirement)
CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified.
Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
