Overview:

A progressive, full-service Ag Retailer is seeking an Agronomy Sales Representative—or a Location Manager for more experienced candidates—to serve growers in Northwestern Nebraska. This company offers a full suite of agronomy solutions including fertilizer, crop protection, seed, precision ag, feed, energy, and custom application services. Built on strong values and long-standing grower relationships, they provide a rewarding work environment with opportunities for career growth and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Sell agronomy products and services, including seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and precision ag tools

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local growers through expert service and agronomic insight

Provide product recommendations and help customers optimize crop production

If hired into a management role, lead daily operations and supervise a motivated agronomy team

Maintain accurate sales records, assist with inventory, and support logistics coordination

Stay current on agronomic trends, inputs, and precision ag technologies relevant to Nebraska farming

What Sets This Role Apart:

Flexibility for early-career professionals or seasoned ag managers

Long-term career stability in a values-driven company with deep local roots

Full-service support team and access to cutting-edge ag tools and technologies

Work outdoors, make a meaningful difference for area farmers, and grow your professional network

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related agricultural field

Sales or leadership experience preferred; internships and recent graduates welcome

Strong knowledge of Nebraska crops, agronomy inputs, and ag technology

Detail-oriented, personable, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Valid driver’s license required; CDL helpful but not necessary

Ideal for candidates local to the region or those looking to move back home

Additional Notes:

The region offers excellent schools, low cost of living, and vibrant small-town communities

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy access to hunting, fishing, hiking, and unique local events like Fur Trade Days, Old West Balloon Fest, and the Whitney Lake Ice Fishing Tourney

Candidates must be willing to work in a rural setting and build long-term relationships with area growers
