Computer Network Architect (SME)

Onsite: Arlington, VA

Responsibilities:

Handles network modeling and analysis

Provides designs for network changes to management for approval

Recommends network equipment improvements

Analyzes business needs to drive changes to network architecture

Evaluates network performance to ensure optimization

Evaluates devices and vendors to find the best solutions for the company at a low cost

Monitors vendor contracts against results and escalates issues to management when necessary

Produces documentation, including diagrams, that detail network architecture implementation

Develops and implements coded solutions for new network hardware or software

Drafts and maintains policies for deployments and daily operations to ensure efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Fifteen (15) years of prior experience in a similar role

Strong communication and organizational skills

IAT or IAM Level I certification

Active Security Clearance
