The expected pay range for a Merchandising Project Manager in Hilo is $92,600 to $114,800 per year plus bonus.

HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking to hire a Merchandising Project Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and delivering a top-tier product and customer experience across our operations by driving key merchandising and retail projects. These projects include optimizing store layouts, managing product rollouts, implementing merchandising strategies, and supporting retail program development.

The Merchandising Project Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including retail stores and corporate support departments, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is essential in aligning strategy, product placement, and service to uphold our commitment to excellence across all locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required

Five or more years of experience in project management, merchandising, purchasing, or a related field, ideally within the retail or building materials industry

Valid Driver's license required

Advanced Project Management training/certifications or relevant experience required

Monthly inter-island travel required and some mainland trips (estimated two a year)

Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making

Proficiency in MS Office; strong internet and social media skills
