Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will gather, process, and analyze data to support business decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to extract insights, create reports, and visualize data using modern analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to support decision-making processes.

Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy.

Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and ETL tools.

Use statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

Present data findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.

Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required to support business initiatives.

Maintain data documentation and establish data governance practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Proficiency in statistical analysis using Python, R, or similar languages.

Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow).

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications.

Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with data quality and data governance frameworks.
