Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p, may vary depending on business needs - occasional weekend
Important Notice Regarding Work Location:
The initial work location for this position will be at our facility in Peekskill, NY. Please note that our operations are scheduled to relocate to Middletown, NY in early 2026. Candidates must be willing and able to work in Peekskill for approximately 6-8 months following their start date, and transition to the Middletown location once the move is complete.

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of inventory, ensuring all finished goods and non-cannabis production materials are accurately received, documented, tracked, and managed across the organization. This position is responsible for leading inventory management initiatives, streamlining ERP systems, and optimizing cross-departmental collaboration with Production, Accounting, Procurement, and other key stakeholders. The Supply Chain Manager will also oversee reporting, inventory reconciliations, and process improvements to support overall business efficiency and growth. A strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, the ideal candidate will excel at inventory analysis, process control, and developing best practices to enhance operational performance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Inventory Control & Management:
Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and policies to ensure accurate, timely inventory tracking.
Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, reporting discrepancies, and executing strategies to optimize stock levels.
Build and enhance inventory processes and systems to provide robust support to operations through comprehensive reporting and analysis.
Regularly review and audit stock item descriptions, master files, and stock numbers for accuracy and efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Serve as a key liaison between Production, Accounting, Procurement, and Operations to ensure seamless alignment and communication regarding inventory needs, trends, and availability.
Assist in ledger reconciliations for the Accounting department to ensure proper documentation of inventory costs.
Work closely with Production to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions and tracking of work-in-progress (WIP) bins and waste adjustments.
ERP System Management:
Act as the subject matter expert on the ERP warehouse management system, working to continuously improve the system's functionality and effectiveness.
Ensure proper integration of inventory processes within ERP systems, including monitoring receipts, warehouse put-aways, and transaction completions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on inventory levels, accuracy, turnover, and other vital metrics.
Lead efforts in identifying trends related to production waste and consumption to streamline efficiency and minimize overuse.
Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts across departments, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all movements.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, train, and mentor a team of material handlers, ensuring that daily activities such as cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and adjustments are completed efficiently.
Manage employee performance evaluations, provide coaching and development, and participate in the recruitment and training of staff.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and compliant inventory practices.
Implement internal control measures to safeguard inventory assets and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Advanced knowledge of inventory management best practices and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Procurement, and Accounting.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
At least 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge and experience with inventory software systems and ERP platforms, with Microsoft Business Central experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with compliance, internal controls, and regulatory practices related to inventory management.
