Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for accuracy and a solid understanding of the insurance industry? J. D. Fulwiler and Company is seeking a motivated Assistant Accounting Manager to support our growing team in either Portland, OR, or Vancouver, WA!
In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our accounting department, working closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient processes. Your insurance expertise will be invaluable in navigating industry-specific accounting practices.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
Help prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize your insurance knowledge to accurately code agency expenditures.
Assist with monthly payroll records.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
