OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Business Analytics Intern will support operational reporting and process improvement initiatives within the billing and revenue cycle team. This role is ideal for a graduate student passionate about data, technology, and continuous improvement. The Business Analytics Intern will work closely with the Sr. RCM Analyst and cross-functional teams to build dashboards, analyze business processes, and drive efficiencies using modern tools.

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics

Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement

Assist with mapping and redesigning core processes in billing and revenue cycle operations

Document reporting requirements, data sources, and workflows in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs across other business functions

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current graduate student in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field

Strong interest in healthcare operations, data analytics, or process improvement

Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools is preferred (training available)

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
