Job Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within the Southern Ohio region by servicing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer-centric approach, a passion for sales, and a solid understanding of chemical products and their applications. This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow existing customer accounts within the assigned territory (Southern Ohio).

Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.

Conduct sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.

Provide technical support and product information to customers, addressing their needs and requirements.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and sales terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in a CRM system.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales management, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Provide timely and accurate sales reports to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemistry or a related scientific field.

A demonstrated passion for customer care and driving new business.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Ability to travel within the Southern Ohio region (Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati).
