Fault Isolation & Management (Transport)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform next-level troubleshooting and manage Transport EMS monitoring and incident response.

Lead the full incident lifecycle using ServiceNow, from identification through resolution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Advanced Ops, Engineering, Vendors) to resolve critical network issues.

Maintain network availability targets (>99.5%) and manage SLAs and KPIs.

Drive root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions and operational improvements.

Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to Network Surveillance Engineers.

Oversee escalations related to chronic network issues and manage Fiber vendor interactions (e.g., AT&T, Zayo).

Ensure incident documentation and ticket hygiene are maintained.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with 7–10 years of telecom or networking experience.

Hands-on experience in 4G/5G NOC operations and incident management.

Deep technical knowledge in routing protocols (eBGP, iBGP, ISIS), SR-MPLS, L2/L3 VPNs, and SDH/DWDM/SON/ACI technologies.

Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, and IP technologies.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage pressure situations independently.

Excellent organizational skills and collaborative mindset for cross-functional coordination.

CCNP certification and SDN knowledge are advantageous.
