Land Surveyor, Licensed

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development and be well-versed in the overall development process, including field surveying & construction staking, mapping, and boundary establishment. This role requires a skilled professional who can perform survey calculations, boundary analysis, and provide field support for various land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and oversee survey calculations, boundary analysis, and field support for land development projects.

Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey-related exhibits.

Manage survey projects from inception to completion, including research, client and agency coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Communicate effectively with clients, local agencies, and team members, ensuring project requirements are met.

Mentor and guide field crew and office staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.

Sign and seal survey documents as required.

Qualifications:

Valid Land Surveyor License in California.

5-8+ years of experience in land development, including field surveying, mapping, topographic surveys, and boundary establishment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.

Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Experience with commercial and residential construction staking is desirable.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively.
