Job Description:

We are Hiring Immediately for a Maintenance position!

Wanted! Handyman in Chino - 1st shift

Fixing and building small office furniture pieces

Remove stains and painting facilities (doors, walls, ceilings), and decorating when necessary

Variety of duties that involve fixing and light repairing of things both indoor and outdoor

Testing various appliances to ensure they work properly

Repair mobile and mounted cooling systems and fans

Adjusting and maintaining equipment

Drywall repair

Hang artwork, signs or shelving on walls

Fixing doorknobs and hinges

Metal recycling receptacles when necessary

Basic plumbing services (unclogging toilets or drains, fixing dripping faucets, fixing leaky pipes and replacing a shower head/fixtures)

Pressure washing to remove dirt and stains

Moving items from one location to another

Clean or repair gutters

Keeping the work area clean

Carry out tasks within specified time limits

Identify and report the need for major repairs

Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organization

Understanding of safety protocols and technical know-how From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role

Other duties as assigned, reasonably required of your job role

Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon

Skills and Qualities:

Basic knowledge in multiple trades: Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance

Hand tool proficiency: Ability to use a variety of hand tools like drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, and saws

Problem-solving skills: Diagnosing issues and finding effective solutions to repair problems

Attention to detail: Ensuring repairs are done neatly and properly

Customer service skills: Communicating clearly with members of staff and understanding their needs
