The Combustion Aero Design Lead will join our Advanced Technology Team and will be responsible for supporting design, development and validation of gas turbine combustion systems, including development rig and engine test campaigns, planning, monitoring, data reduction and documentation.

In this role you will learn processes that meet business needs across the organization, participate in solving complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Detailed Aerodynamic analysis, design, and test functions required to define components, assemblies, and systems that meet program and product requirements

Use and development of engineering tools to perform aerodynamic evaluations

Successful planning, design and execution of test programs

Compliant communications of aero technical data

Basic technical implications of business CTQ’s.

Collaboration with cross functional engineering teams to support hardware design & manufacturing as well as testing

Partner with internal and external function to improve processes and/or manage activities

Qualifications/Requirements

Master’s degree (preferred) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with a focus on combustion aerodynamics

Consistent experience in combustion aerodynamics design and validation

New Product/Technology Introduction experience

Lean / Six Sigma.

Technical aptitude in combustion science, experimental testing and large data processing

Strong communication and organizational skills

Fluency in Italian and English

Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required
