You'll work on Military programs, as deputy of the focal point for assigned test facility design, validation and verification tasks starting from requirements definition, test compliance assessment, test execution plan overview and evidence phase completion. You will work with a team of engineers and specialists to expand, improve and maintain engine test facilities capabilities.

You'll support the facility design team, being point of contact for related tasks (e.i. CFD analysis) for Customers/Partners working groups (national and international).

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Perform capability assessment regarding aerodynamic CFD analysis for engine enclosed test cell, support the development of verification strategy and plan, included specific instrumentation for the proposed solution.

Manage the creation of validation and verification tool and execution plan in order to get appropriate evidence for tool validation (CFD analysis).

Review and apply applicable practices and processes (DPs, CTHs reviews, etc) for testing facilities throughout the life cycle of the design, execution, commissioning and handover of facility modification, in order to support new facilities designs.

Regarding the instrumentation for verification, be focal point for the design, procurement and installation.

Be the point of contact within the projects to support and coordinate the facility design team and test vehicle system team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities

Qualifications/Requirements

Master's degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge of mechanical components design and familiarity with mechanical drawings

Basic knowledge of jet engine behavior in enclosed test cell

CFD analysis tool knowledge in enclosed test cell

Familiarity with instrumentation for engine test application

Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, and Italian citizenship are required

Fluent in English and Italian

Availability to travel (Italy and abroad) for short-medium periods
