Job Description

About Us:

FreshCut Paper is a rapidly growing and evolving design forward startup. We are entering into the $8 Billion cut flower industry with a green, cost effective contemporary alternative.

Created by renowned designer Peter Hewitt in 2020. Our life-sized pop-up floral bouquets consist of breathtaking blooms that are wilt-proof, care free, and non allergenic. We are poised to take a bite out of the $8 billion fresh cut flower industry and the $6 billion greeting card market. Our product is a compelling, contemporary, alternative way to send flowers.

Beyond having a fraction of the carbon footprint of imported flowers, we plant a tree for every bouquet sold, and partner with 1% for the Planet, an organization and global movement that tirelessly works to tackle our planet’s most pressing environmental issues.

Our beautiful office is located in the historical Bradford Mill alongside a community of start-ups and artists.

The Opportunity:

As our Logistics Coordinator, your primary focus will be ensuring that our inventory movements are flowing smoothly. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective importation of products from our manufacturing partners, coordinating with customs brokers, and maintaining compliance with U.S. import regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in import logistics, customs documentation, and international trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Import & Custom Coordination

Prepare and review import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, based on paperwork provided by our manufacturers.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents to our U.S. Customs Broker for smooth customs clearance.

Maintain up-to-date HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classifications for our product portfolio and ensure compliance with tariff regulations.

Monitor changes in import/export regulations and proactively implement necessary compliance measures.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Own the end-to-end management of inbound shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to resolve shipping delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues.

Maintain accurate records of shipping and logistics costs, tariffs, and other fees to support financial planning.

Develop and maintain reporting on inbound freight costs, lead times, and inventory movement.

Amazon & Retailer Replenishment Support

Assist with replenishment processes for key retail partners, including Amazon, major retailers, and distributors.

Maintain SKU characteristics, order inputs, and transparency codes for Amazon shipments.

Coordinate inbound shipments with manufacturers to align with retailer compliance requirements.

Communicate daily with our internal teams and partners, providing shipment updates and flagging issues proactively.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in import logistics, international trade, or supply chain management.

Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations, HTS classifications, and customs clearance processes.

Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.

Familiarity with Amazon replenishment processes and retail logistics compliance is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics tracking tools.

Experience with Notion, Slack and Google Suite a plus

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and internal teams.
