Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Von Ormy, TX
Salary: $175,000–$250,000 base

Overview:
A rapidly growing manufacturer of power distribution modules, generator enclosures, and E-Houses is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Design Engineering Leader to support the development of a new product line. This position will focus on the design and integration of packaged power systems, including medium and high voltage switchgear applications, for mission critical facilities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead custom electrical designs for generator enclosures, power distribution centers, and E-Houses
Develop detailed electrical systems that comply with client specifications and industry codes
Create structural and HVAC design input to support complete enclosure systems
Select materials based on environmental and performance criteria
Prepare bills of material and support part number creation
Oversee engineering phases of assigned projects and ensure timely execution
Create detailed engineering drawings, specs, and documentation packages
Ensure all designs meet quality, performance, and compliance standards
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in mission critical or commercial construction industries
Strong electrical systems design experience related to power distribution
PE license highly preferred (not required if other qualifications are met)
Proficient with Autodesk Revit and 3D AutoCAD
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Background in MEP design or engineering for building systems strongly preferred
Additional Notes:
Priority given to candidates with experience in with Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and/or PE certification
Not seeking traditional manufacturing or circuit board design engineers—ideal candidates come from commercial construction or MEP engineering backgrounds
No remote work; onsite presence required
Local/regional candidates preferred
