Advance Testing Company, Inc., a well-established New York-based construction materials testing and inspection firm, is currently seeking a full-time IT Help Desk Support & Web Developer. This is an on-site (presential) opportunity.

For over 35 years, Advance Testing has delivered high-quality aggregate, soil, concrete, asphalt, and steel inspection services across the Eastern United States. Our projects span a wide range of construction types, including highways, bridges, airports, commercial buildings, tunnels, fabrication plants, government/military facilities, and schools.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in an innovative environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding digital and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide front-line IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain and troubleshoot desktop and mobile devices, printers, network equipment, and other IT systems.

Design, develop, and maintain web-based and mobile applications tailored to business needs.

Assist with system upgrades, patching, backups, and cybersecurity efforts.

Document technical procedures and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Collaborate with team members while demonstrating the ability to work independently when required.

Utilize a variety of development and IT tools, including:

ASP.NET, MVC, C#

JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS

REST APIs, Web Services

SQL

Visual Studio 2019/2022

Git (for source control)

Requirements:

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience with web development and IT support preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and grow is equally valued.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across both software and hardware.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Commitment to accuracy and timely task completion.
