Your Role as Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable:
Demonstrate strong expertise and leadership in accounts payable operations.
Perform all assigned duties with a commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Actively contribute to achieving departmental and company financial objectives.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process is implemented accurately and consistently in line with company SOPs.
Oversee the accurate recording of invoices, ensuring correct application of GL accounts, locations, and cost centers.
Analyze vendor Statements of Account (SOA) and reconcile with Accounts Payable aging reports; recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes, supported by vendor accrual schedules.
Assist the coding team to ensure invoices are properly recorded and categorized.
Communicate and resolve invoice or payment-related issues with users, vendors, and the coding team.
Develop and communicate payment schedules to management for better cash flow management.
Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow forecasts in alignment with payment obligations.
Maintain professional and effective communication with all stakeholders via email, chat, or verbal correspondence.
Update and maintain SOPs to reflect the latest business policies and process improvements.
