Functional Test Technician - 2nd Shift
We're looking for an individual to set up a plan and perform functional testing on bellows components, assemblies, and completed products, ensuring consistency of performance of the finished parts or products to meet our quality standards.
What You'll Do:
Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorizations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and other work instructions to verify conformance to specifications using your knowledge of test equipment.
Set up and maintain operating conditions as prescribed for various tests, ensuring proper function and performance of parts and products.
Test and inspect parts using a wide variety of mechanical measuring instruments to ensure functional compliance and quality.
Utilize quantitative charting techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), to maintain required quality and productivity levels.
Troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions when necessary, making adjustments to equipment and tooling to comply with requirements.
Assist in training other team members and provide support in day-to-day operations.
Perform basic computer functions to document labor transactions and other required activities.
What You Bring:
Experience: 3-5 years experience. Strong background in functional testing, mechanical inspections, and quality assurance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with mechanical measuring instruments and troubleshooting techniques.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex work instructions and ensure consistency in performance.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for assisting and mentoring team members.
