Job Description

Oversee construction projects from beginning to end

Manage the budget and estimate costs

Determine the necessary resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities

Supervise the work of laborers and give them guidance when needed

The Successful Applicant

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field is a plus

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector

Excellent knowledge of construction project management processes, means and methods

Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

Competent in conflict and crisis management
